George Huddy Obituary
George Manoa Huddy, 82, of Kapaa passed away on February 11, 2026 in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lihue, Hawaii on March 30, 1943 and was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Operator Engineer Union.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Samuel & Mabel Huddy; brothers, Thomas & Abraham Huddy; granddaughter, Kayla Kaohinani Huddy-Lemn.
George is survived by his loving wife on 62 years, LaVerne Huddy; son, Terence Huddy; daughters, Roberta Huddy and Verna Huddy’ brothers, Samuel (Didi) Huddy and Joshua (Emma) Huddy; sisters, Sarah Kuhaulua and Rachel Huddy; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 28, 2026 at the 1st Hawaiian Church in Kapaa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
